About the Blog!

Blogging has been something I’ve wanted to do for a while, and I finally launched my idea in July 2022. Even though it’s only been a few months, it feels like i’ve been doing this a lot longer, but I enjoy blogging so much! While I was dreaming up ideas for this blog, I dreamed of having followers and traction, but brought myself to the reality that it would probably be a while till I had some substantial following. Little did I know, just a few months after I started, I had reached my goal of 30 subscribers. I’m so thankful for all my subscribers and my fellow blogging friends that have helped me gain that traction, and helping me start to really bring my dream into reality. Thanks guys

BV is a lifestyle blog, and I post on everything from recipes to vacation posts. At first, I thought this would be a food blog, because I used to be super into baking, but gave it some thought, and decided that lifestyle blogging is the place for me!

The Meaning of “the braided vine”

The braided vine has two meanings- 1) John 15:5, talking about how we grow from God, the vine, and if we remain in him, we will bear much fruit, and 2) green is also my favorite color and I think it’s a super pretty name for a lifestyle blog :).

Using this blog to create a place where teenage girls like me can come to just have some fun, read some interesting posts, but also to share “Everyday* Inspiration for the Not Average Girl” and empower other girls to be the best they can be here in this world we call our home.
